My name is Zsuzsa Paraszthy, and I specialize in teaching Hungarian as a Foreign Language. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping numerous students gain confidence in speaking Hungarian. Through both one-on-one and group lessons, I’ve witnessed many students grappling with language barriers. I’ve pinpointed common mistakes and misconceptions that learners often wrestle with for months, or even years.

I’m constantly amazed by the time and effort students dedicate to non-essential aspects, such as memorizing extensive vocabulary and grammar rules they rarely use. Meanwhile, they frequently overlook fundamental aspects essential for effective communication, such as understanding Hungarian culture and expressions.

That’s why my lessons prioritize improving your core verbal skills (listening and speaking), enabling you to enhance your fluency dramatically in the shortest possible time. Soon, you’ll be confidently engaging in conversations on your favorite topics and effortlessly communicating even with your child’s kindergarten teacher.
