Hello everyone!
My name is Zsuzsi Paraszthy, I’m a certified Hungarian as a foreign language teacher. Throughout my career, I have helped numerous students conquer their fear of speaking.
I always find it fascinating how much time and effort students pour into learning words and grammar they rarely use. Meanwhile, they often overlook the essentials that truly matter, like mastering typical everyday expressions and honing their pronunciation. These are the real game-changers that make communication clear and effective.

Why me?
I’m coming from Transylvania (Romania) where Hungarians were a minority, an undesirable group. I know firsthand what it’s like to be an outsider, a minority.
That’s why teaching Hungarian to students like you is such a great privilege for me. Having lived in France, I understand the culture shock and the challenge of grappling with a language that operates on a completely different logic.
I know how long it can feel when you’re only speaking the “baby” language, missing the jokes, and struggling to express your true self. We can walk this journey together, and I’ll help you feel at home with the Hungarian language and culture.
